Why "Helvetic"?

Let’s clear up the common questions right away:

• No, Helvetic isn’t a font.
• No, we don’t design logos.
• And no, we’re not from Sweden.
   

The name Helvetic is derived from Helvetia, the classical Latin name for Switzerland. It’s an intentional reference to our roots—and to the qualities we bring to every engagement: clarity, reliability, and no-nonsense delivery.

Yes, we’ve been mistaken for a font. Someone even asked if we run an airline. (Fair—there is a Helvetic Airways.) But mostly, we've found that people remember the name once they understand what it stands for.

And yes, we’ve had to clarify more than once that Swiss ≠ Swedish. (Though we also appreciate ABBA.)
